It's simple:

• Schedule: Choose when you want the message delivered (a specific date or triggered event)
• Add Recipients: Enter the email addresses of who should receive the message
• We Deliver: On the scheduled date, recipients get an email with a secure link to your video

Yes! During our beta period, all features are completely free. No credit card required. After beta ends, Bovella will use a simple token system - see the "Pricing & Tokens" section below for details on how tokens work.

Bovella works on any device with a camera and internet connection:

• Tablets (iPad, Android tablets)
• Computers with webcams (Mac, Windows, Linux)

We recommend using Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge for the best experience.

During the beta period, there's no strict limit on video length. We recommend keeping messages under 30 minutes for the best recipient experience, but we won't stop you from recording longer messages for special occasions.

Yes! You can either record directly in Bovella or upload video files from your device. We support most common video formats including MP4, MOV, and WebM.

Yes, you can delete and re-record any message before it's delivered. Once a message has been delivered, you can't edit it, but you can send a new follow-up message if needed.

Just start over! You can preview your recording before saving, and re-record as many times as you need. Your messages aren't saved until you explicitly confirm them.

You can schedule messages decades in advance. We're built for the long term - messages for your children's 18th birthday, your 50th wedding anniversary, or even after you're gone.

On the scheduled date, your recipient receives an email with a personalized link to watch your video. They don't need a Bovella account - just click and watch. You'll receive a notification when they view it.

Yes, you can cancel any message before it's delivered. Go to your dashboard, find the message, and click "Cancel Delivery." Once a message is delivered, it cannot be recalled.

You can update recipient email addresses at any time before delivery. We recommend checking and updating your contact information periodically, especially for messages scheduled far in the future.

We're committed to the long term, but we understand this concern. If we ever need to close:

• We'll give at least 6 months notice
• You'll be able to download all your videos
• We'll attempt to deliver all scheduled messages before closing
• We're exploring partnerships for service continuity

Very secure. We use bank-level encryption (AES-256) for all stored videos and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Your videos are stored in secure, redundant cloud infrastructure with multiple backup copies.

No. Your videos are encrypted, and we don't have access to view them. The only time we might access content is if required by law or if you explicitly request technical support that requires it.

Only the recipients you designate. Each video gets a unique, secure link that only works for the intended recipient. You can also set messages to expire after viewing if you prefer.

Yes. You can delete individual videos anytime, or delete your entire account. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Click "Get Started" and enter your email address and a password. That's it! You can start recording immediately. No credit card required during the beta period.

Click "Sign In" and then "Forgot Password." Enter your email address, and we'll send you a link to reset your password. The link expires after 24 hours for security.

We recommend using one account per person. If you have a legitimate need for multiple accounts (e.g., personal and business), please contact us to discuss your situation.

After the beta period ends, we'll use a simple token system. However:

• Early beta users will receive special token bonuses
• We'll give plenty of notice before the beta ends
• Messages you've already scheduled will be honored
• Tokens are affordable - starting at $0.30 per token

After the beta period, Bovella uses a simple token system:

• 1 token = 1 video upload
• Free scheduling for deliveries within 1 year
• 1 token per year for deliveries more than 1 year in the future

Example: Schedule a video for 5 years ahead = 1 token (upload) + 4 tokens (years 2-5) = 5 tokens total

Tokens are available in three packages:

• 20 tokens - $9.99 ($0.50 per token)
• 60 tokens - $24.99 ($0.42 per token) - Best Value
• 100 tokens - $29.99 ($0.30 per token)

Tokens never expire once purchased.

Storing videos securely for decades requires ongoing infrastructure, backups, and maintenance. The per-year token cost helps ensure we can reliably preserve and deliver your messages for as long as you need - even 50+ years into the future.

No! During the beta period, everything is completely free. You can record unlimited videos and schedule them as far in advance as you like at no cost. We'll notify all users well in advance before the beta ends.

All messages scheduled during the beta will be honored at no additional cost. You won't need to pay for videos you've already uploaded or scheduling dates you've already set. Tokens are only required for new uploads and new long-term schedules after the beta ends.
