Password Protection

💡 Strong Password Tips

A strong password is at least 12 characters and includes a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Passphrases (like "correct-horse-battery-staple") are both strong and easy to remember.

Session Security

When you log in, we create a secure session that identifies you. Sessions automatically expire after a period of inactivity, and you can manually log out at any time.

  • Always log out when using shared or public computers
  • Sessions expire after 30 days of inactivity
  • You can view and revoke active sessions from account settings

Video Privacy

Who Can See Your Videos?

Your videos are completely private. The only people who can see a video message are:

  1. You - the account owner and creator
  2. Your designated recipient - only after the delivery date

Videos are not publicly accessible. Each video has a unique, unguessable URL that is only shared with the intended recipient.

Before Delivery

  • Only you can view, edit, or delete the message
  • Recipients cannot see messages before the scheduled delivery date
  • Videos are stored encrypted and are not accessible to our staff

After Delivery

  • The recipient receives a secure link via email
  • Videos can only be viewed by clicking the link (no public listing)
  • You receive confirmation when the message is delivered

Data Privacy

What We Collect

We collect only what's necessary to provide the service:

  • Your email address and account information
  • Your video recordings and message metadata
  • Recipient names and email addresses you provide
  • Basic usage data to improve the service

What We Don't Do

  • Sell your data - We never sell personal information to third parties
  • Watch your videos - We don't view your video content
  • Share with advertisers - We don't share data for advertising purposes
  • Use AI on your videos - We don't process your videos with AI or analytics
